1. Approach possible partners for understanding of the needs and desires of tenants and housing providers to craft specific curriculum ideas. (8 months before desired implementation)

  2. Create partnership between tenant-side legal orgs (Legal Aid, CRLA, FHANC) and, as desired, a provider-side legal service (like Zyromski Konicek) to develop curriculum. (5-6 months before desired implementation)

  3. Determine sponsor entity, like County of Sonoma, City of Sonoma, or local services center (e.g. FISH, La Luz, local church), who will help promote and find space for any in-person training. Similarly, if written or video resources are desired, figure out where those resources will be accessible. (3-5 months before desired implementation)

  4. Create materials, including presentation curriculum and written resources, as desired. (3-5 months before implementation)

  5. Implement plan. This may involve multiple in-person trainings or a webinar or series of webinars. In-person trainings can be tough draws unless there is a specific issue in a particular complex or community that motivates attendees. Webinars may be more cost effective and create a resource that can be used whenever an issue comes up.
