Sonoma County Counsel / District Attorney – Failure to comply with the inclusionary housing policy subjects the developer/owner to possible civil or criminal penalties. Therefore, the authorities who bring cases on behalf of the County may be good stakeholders for the conversation because egregious violations in County jurisdiction will fall to them for enforcement action.
Legal Aid of Sonoma County – LASC is the largest provider of free legal services for low-income residents of Sonoma County. LASC has long advocated for a comprehensive rental registry and will likely have some interest in advising on monitoring best practices.
Burbank Housing – Burbank is the largest affordable housing developer in Sonoma County. Inclusionary units will not be in Burbank developments (which are 100% affordable). Therefore, Burbank can be an excellent advisor on affordable housing compliance in general.
